Bust a Move (#1 Derek Dool Supercool)

Author(s): Adrian Beck

Junior Fiction (5-9) | Young Reader Reviews | Great Fiction for Grades 3&4 | Fun and Funny | Real Life | Silly Stories | Year 4 - Adrian Beck

Life's tough when your name's Derek. You're destined to be uncool.

But Derek is determined to find something - anything - that will change that. He's sick of being picked last in PE, of not being invited to parties, and of all the cool kids using his freckles as dot-to-dot challenges.

Derek is going to find something that will make him SUPERCOOL and nothing is going to stop him.

Young Reader Review by Hazel, 6:

I woud recommend Derek Dool Super Cool because it's funny and I really liked how the story turned out.

Young Reader Review by Henry, 8:

This book was really fun to read. The characters are awesome because they are kind of funny. Derek is a school kid who thinks he’s awesome, but does everyone think that?

If you like comedy and friendship stories you might like this. I would recommend it to people aged 7-10.
